If you didn’t already know, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is the only solo studio album recorded by the sensational rapper Lauryn Hill. Dropped in 1998 through Ruffhouse Records and Columbia Records, it’s a neo soul and R&B record that dips into hip hop, soul and reggae. Meanwhile, The Score is the hip hop trio Fugees’ sophomore album. Released across the globe in 1996 via Columbia Records, the record was the Fugees final studio album. The Score climbed to the top of the U.S. Billboard 200 and also snagged the #1 spot in the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart for a whopping eight weeks, making it the longest running number one for a hip hop group. With smash hits like "Killing Me Softly," it’s not surprising that the album won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, as well as Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. If that wasn’t impressive enough, The Score also was added to the list of 200 Definitive Albums in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and was ranked among Rolling Stone's legendary list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time." And now, Lauryn Hill and The Fugees are inviting you to party to some of the best music that hip hop has to offer live and up close!
